FUELING GOOD IN
We want a pony this holiday season! This is our buddy from our stop at former Fueling Good winner Kopper Top Life Learning Center, Inc. in North Carolina! #FGRT
To commemorate a great year of Fueling Good, we asked the friendly people of Louisiana a simple question: Where is the most memorable place your car has taken you this year? #FGRTFGRT Sidequest: Tales from the Road
A former Fueling Good winner, Food Bank of South Central Michigan, is still working hard to keep hunger away by distributing groceries to those in need. Keep it up!
Wow! Our trip to Louisiana went fast. We really enjoyed meeting all the cool customers here and learning about all the ways CITGO and the Lake Charles CITGO Refinery help fuel good. Stay tuned to our Facebook page in the coming days for videos of our trip!
'Share' if you think fueling education is important! Ms. Moore is the technology teacher at Pearl Watson who won school supplies in the CITGO
The Lake Charles Refinery believes strongly in giving back to its Louisiana community. That's why they're sponsoring an education series of programs for local schools like Pearl Watson Elementary. Today, Farmer Jason entertained and educated kids with fun and colorful songs. What important lessons did you learn in school?
We're on a boat! A tugboat to be exact. Indeed, Captain Ken and the crew of Pat, a tractor tug, were kind enough to take us out on the water to learn about the integral role tugboats play in the supply process. Educational and fun!
What's your favorite locally-owned business? On the Fueling Good Road Trip, we are committed to supporting local businesses because we want to shine a spotlight on those who benefit their communities. We discovered one such business, Misha's Pets, right here in Sulphur, Louisiana, which has served the region for 14 years.
We've already experienced a lot of Louisiana: Homemade gumbo, a high school pep rally and a visit to the Lake Charles Refinery. To see more of his beautiful state, CITGO fuel distributor Herb offered to take us out on Lake Charles. We happily obliged!
Happy Holidays from the Fueling Good Road Trip and the Lake Charles Refinery. Check out the beautiful Environmental Christmas Tree. All the decorations are homemade!
The friendly folks at the Lake Charles Refinery invited us over to learn how they're Fueling Good in their local community - by providing more than 1,000 jobs and volunteering for more than 30 charities! Wow, way to go everyone! They also have some pretty cool retro CITGO items here. Ever seen one of these before?
Adam and Diego were delighted to be invited to Dana's house for some traditional gumbo! Dana, an employee at the Lake Charles Refinery, told the guys they absolutely had to have gumbo while they were here. What traditional dish makes your community stand out?
Good is being Fueled all around in our world, you just have to look! That's what the Road Trip discovered here in Sulphur, where we met Miss Louisiana, who supports Children's Miracle Network Hospitals and Colors for a Cause ~ Louisiana Chapter, which raises funds for cancer awareness.
