Local fuel supplier Hutchens Petroleum launched a new advertising campaign prominently displayed on its fleet of tanker trucks. The tankers are brightly wrapped with images of Hutchens Petroleum fueling the life of local communities, as well as messages urging support of The Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA), Susan G. South Paris, Maine 1.31.11

CITGO Petroleum Corporation and Maine-based fuel distributor C.N. Brown Company announced the conversion of 42 locally owned gas stations across Maine and New Hampshire to the CITGO brand, extending the company's 20-year partnership with CITGO. C.N. Brown has become one of the largest supporters of the Muscular Dystrophy Association within the CITGO network, raising more than $3.8 million through company sponsored events over the past 26 years. Bazzi Oil & Gas Company, a local CITGO distributor which owns and operates the station, is one of a select group of Dearborn businesses honored for its work in helping to create an awareness of responsibility and civic pride in the community. Sheboygan, Wisconsin 12.15.10

For the third consecutive year, CITGO Q Mart stores across Sheboygan collected toys and games for needy children as part of the Salvation Army Toy Drive. Their goal for 2010 was to collect more than 500 toys to ensure that hundreds of needy local children experienced the joy of the holiday season. Read the full story »

44 CITGO gas stations across southeastern Wisconsin joined together for the 2010 holiday season to light up the lives of children in need. In partnership with local radio station FM 106.1, participating CITGO stations collected toys in support of Toys for Tots. Read the full story »

 

Laurinburg, North Carolina 8.30.10

Nine locally owned CITGO stations supported their Red Cross chapter’s community, disaster, military and health assistance programs through month-long fundraising efforts and two community blood drives.
